John Matter, Senior Counsel for Papa John’s Internationl, Inc, is a senior corporate and litigation attorney with a broad range of experience and responsibility as an in-house attorney. Mr. Matter’s current and past duties include drafting and negotiating customer and vendor contracts; working with senior management on legal issues; reviewing NDA’s and assisting with acquisitions; advising HR on employment issues; supporting global operations, information technology, and risk departments, advising company on international, franchising, technology, e-commerce, and data privacy issues, managing outside litigation, including commercial, employment, personal injury, shareholder, and class action lawsuits; directing internal document production and e-discovery requests; engaging outside counsel on a wide variety of legal issues; and handling general corporate matters on a daily basis.

John W. Hays is a Member in the Firm's Lexington, Kentucky, office. Mr. Hays has experience representing clients in litigation matters, including personal injury defense, property damage, insurance coverage and indemnity disputes.
