Many Americans are crisis Christians!  They run to God when crisis hits, but when all is well, He is no longer Lord of all.  We must understand:  God will not be manipulated or used!!  We must walk with Him now, honor Him now, make Him Lord of all now - whether all is well or not.. THEN when we face a battle - He is already with us!!!

There are people in our culture who afraid to hope any longer. But we know our God. Help is on the way. It seems like midnight. It seems like the enemy is winning. But God has just started to roll up His sleeves to rescue and deliver His people. God keeps His Word.

The Philistines, determined to stop up God’s favor towards His people, stopped up the wells of Abraham. The blessings of harvest dried up and there was famine in the land. But Abraham’s son Isaac re-dug the wells of his father and he and his people flourished once again. We face a similar challenge today. The adversary has sought to shut us down, but we are determined to re-dig the wells of our spiritual inheritance.

America is celebrating her 245th birthday. From the Boston statehouse the Declaration of Independence will once be again read for all to hear as it was each year since our birth. We must rediscover who we are and the spiritual DNA that launched the freest nation on earth. We are at war for the soul of our nation. We are in the greatest crisis in our history. But God has a plan to restore our nation.

God is on the move in these troubled times. As we call out to the Lord with repentant hearts on behalf of ourselves, families and our culture, God is igniting His church. We have been brought to this time by the timing of God. 

Because of the spirit of fear, some have decided to retreat and be the church under the radar. Jesus didn’t call His church to retreat but to be salt and light; to advance on the gates of hell. “O God, let there be an anointed shift in your people.” We are called to be the catalyst of God’s redemptive plan for people. We were born for this day.

All too often we endure church as a box to check instead of a communion with God by the Holy Spirit. The results of a church with fresh life: spiritual renewal and evangelization. We carry the only message of hope for a decaying culture. 

We pay tribute to those amazing godly women who served as a catalyst bringing us out of God’s heart into time; for their daily sacrifices, care and values. This morning, we will unpack the story of Hannah; through her trials, she remain faithful to God and received her reward.  

Jesus taught in a parable that next to the good wheat that He sows, weeds will also come up, planted by an enemy. The differences between the two gradually become very evident... and in the end of days, those who are truly His will be separated from those who are not.. Today we can see that differences in our culture have become increasingly evident.... and weeds within our own lives also manifest and need to be dealt with. Join us as Pastor Michael takes us “Into the Weeds” to examine multiple sides of Jesus’ parable that is a timely Word from God.

The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus to His followers to remain with us forever. This is a huge contrast to the Spirit’s work under the Old Covenant. The Holy Spirit brings to us a tool box filled with everything we need to equip us to defeat any foe.
