America is celebrating her 245th birthday. From the Boston statehouse the Declaration of Independence will once be again read for all to hear as it was each year since our birth. We must rediscover who we are and the spiritual DNA that launched the freest nation on earth. We are at war for the soul of our nation. We are in the greatest crisis in our history. But God has a plan to restore our nation.

God is on the move in these troubled times. As we call out to the Lord with repentant hearts on behalf of ourselves, families and our culture, God is igniting His church. We have been brought to this time by the timing of God. 

Because of the spirit of fear, some have decided to retreat and be the church under the radar. Jesus didn’t call His church to retreat but to be salt and light; to advance on the gates of hell. “O God, let there be an anointed shift in your people.” We are called to be the catalyst of God’s redemptive plan for people. We were born for this day.

All too often we endure church as a box to check instead of a communion with God by the Holy Spirit. The results of a church with fresh life: spiritual renewal and evangelization. We carry the only message of hope for a decaying culture. 

We pay tribute to those amazing godly women who served as a catalyst bringing us out of God’s heart into time; for their daily sacrifices, care and values. This morning, we will unpack the story of Hannah; through her trials, she remain faithful to God and received her reward.  

Jesus taught in a parable that next to the good wheat that He sows, weeds will also come up, planted by an enemy. The differences between the two gradually become very evident... and in the end of days, those who are truly His will be separated from those who are not.. Today we can see that differences in our culture have become increasingly evident.... and weeds within our own lives also manifest and need to be dealt with. Join us as Pastor Michael takes us “Into the Weeds” to examine multiple sides of Jesus’ parable that is a timely Word from God.

The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus to His followers to remain with us forever. This is a huge contrast to the Spirit’s work under the Old Covenant. The Holy Spirit brings to us a tool box filled with everything we need to equip us to defeat any foe.

As long as we keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in our lives the enemy cannot defeat us. The Holy Spirit is a Person. Jesus sent Him to us to bring us power to share the Gospel and be victorious in the battles of life. He is essential. When we neglect our best Friend the smallest challenge will defeat us. This morning, we will rediscover the important role the Holy Spirit plays in empowering our lives.

So often the Christian culture succumbs to pressure and tests with complaints and negative speech. We are all subject to tests but we must learn a new response. The best response when we find ourselves in a dilemma is to focus on the faithfulness of God and praise Him. Praise and worship create a door for God’s Presence to enter our circumstances.  

The resurrection places Jesus in a category all by Himself. Jesus’ death revealed His humanity. Jesus’ resurrection proves He is God. Easter changed everything. Join us as we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death.

Palm Sunday. Holy Week. We focus on this incomprehensible love of God that He chose to rebuild the bridge we destroyed by our sins. God in human form was crucified between two criminals. One, rebellious. The other, humble. May we humble ourselves and know Jesus' death and resurrection opened the door for our salvation. This morning, we will celebrate the most momentous victory ever achieved for humanity.  

So how do we become “woke” awakened as Jesus’ church in a cancel culture?  Before we can move our culture, we must move in to a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.  We must marinate in the presence of Jesus - seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.  This morning, we will gather together to unwrap the principles of an upper room posture.

Oh, magnify the Lord with me... We are living in a day when the spirit of fear is filling people with anxiety. All we hear is negative information and we can see the fear on the faces of people. Fear will attempt to eat you alive. It’s time to take the lens of the worship of our God and magnify Him in our sight. He is God Almighty. This morning, gather with us to see God as He truly is greater than any mountain we are looking at. None is His equal. Nothing can stand against Him. He is victorious.

How many know we are in a battle against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places? This is a test. The enemy has held the high ground far too long.  We are engaged in this spiritual battle as Jesus’ Church and we will overcome.  We cannot hide or retreat.  We cannot correct what we cannot confront.  God will miraculously intervene if we confront the adversary, armored up.  This morning, we will enjoy a service of victory.  We will receive the strength and tools to win this test.

Have I told you lately that I love you? An insight into our human nature and our ability to take the most important matters for granted. Love must be nurtured and renewed or relationships can evaporate. Jesus is fully aware of how often we take His love and mercy for granted. This morning we will gather to express and reaffirm our love for the One who deserves it most as we hear His take on Valentine love.
