Today’s breaking news comes right from the pages of Holy Scripture. The prophet Ezekiel foretold this day. We stand on the doorstep of the greatest fulfillment of prophecy the human race has ever seen. Today we will unwrap current events in light of God’s Word.

Jesus taught His disciples the importance of children in the Father’s eyes.  When they tried to drive children away, Jesus stopped them and said let them come to Me!!  In today’s culture, many still don’t understand the critical need for children to be in the presence of Jesus and to learn to be near Him, worship Him and learn from Him.  Being a child of God is our highest and greatest calling - no matter our biological age

Gathering has been a challenge for most people, for 2 years. A spirit of fear has paralyzed many, even affecting the body of Christ. But His glory is in the gathering. Check Biblical history. We serve the God who works miracles with many or with few. We are mandated in Scripture to gather; He will be there.

Jesus has much to say about love. He is the embodiment and expressed love of His Father towards us. Even if our earthly parents abandon us, He never will. As Jesus’ followers we receive His love, return His love and freely share Jesus' love.

Daily we face ever changing winds of opinion; instability, fear and uncertainty. But not so for those who stand anchored to God’s unchanging Word. Our Father has a definitive Word for this generation. How do we learn to tune our ears to hear His voice? Daniel set the example for us with His focused posturing toward God.

When the churches seats are full and the altars are empty we need spiritual renewal. When the majority of a congregation are spectators and a minority worshipers, we need spiritual renewal. At CCC we are on a quest for spiritual renewal because God is desirous of renewal for His church. 

Nehemiah had a God given dream to rebuild Jerusalem. On the journey to fulfillment he faced mockery, discouragement and a host of battles. No victory is achieved without a battle. Pastor Ciociola teaches the path forward to changing cultural rubble into renewal and restoration. 

Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?” It’s the same question being asked today. Truth changes daily based on opinions. But God’s truth is unchangeable. It’s the anchor of our soul in a culture filled with error. We’re in a battle for eternity. 

The adversary intimidates with fear and paralysis. But we have not been given the spirit of fear. We are anointed to win the battles of life. Anointed warriors will displace the adversary. Join us this morning as we are equipped to win. 

As we enter new opportunities and embrace the promises God has for us, there will be challenges. But do not be afraid. Believe. God will show up right on time. Joshua faced new challenges, so do we. The God who was with Joshua is our God. Join us as we acquire the faith to make 2022 a year of triumphant victory.

The story of Christmas is the greatest invitation to ever receive… and the first invitations went to the humblest of recipients on that first year of Christ’s life on earth.  God With You: it is no doubt the greatest invitation and is still offered to the humblest who would receive Him.

The Jesus of the Bible- while relentless in His love to restore our brokenness, also holds His followers to a standard. Jesus said, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness .” So how do churches once on fire slide into just going through the motions?  This morning, we will connect with God’s fire and renew our first love for Jesus.

Jesus commanded that His followers penetrate the culture and share the Good News of great joy to all people. Often in the routine of busyness, the purpose of the church is overlooked. Today we will unpack the strategy Jesus revealed and never rescinded. 

Amidst frustration and a culture in turmoil it’s easy to default to the pressures and become negative in thoughts, speech and actions. If we desire God’s blessings in our lives we must create an atmosphere to receive them. 

Many need to know the Holy Spirit is fully God: He has been sent to us to abide with us and to reveal the truth to us in a day when everyone has his/her truth. If there was ever a day when we need the Spirit of Truth it is today.

It seems we’re living in a culture filled with chaos. Jesus said a sign of His return would be “perplexities,” unsolvable issues. What are His followers to do? He told us. We should be about the business of spreading His Gospel in anticipation of His return.

In a culture that has lost its rudder, a question we need to ask ourselves is, “Who is on the Lord’s side?” When we stand clearly on the Lord’s side, He will stand with us and the hand of the Lord will manifest once again.

There’s an Old Testament story that has implications for our current culture. God’s people were spiritually asleep and the culture was in collapse. God used a moment to awaken and rally His people. His message “Consider, take counsel, speak up.”  We need this template today in our nation.
