Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series! On this edition we welcome Ẓıȷŋ @medi-zijn In ẒIJN's family of origin, music has been heard since prehistoric times as the essential art of all the arts, which were omnipresent from an early age. He was literally born with the talent of the sound artist. Some instruments shaped the career and the basic emotional feeling. When he was growing up, the first attempts came with old, cheap CD-Players to mix Goa and Trance. Time passed and the priorities shifted to visual arts such as painting and studying media design. But then at some point „Techno" discovered ẓıȷŋ’s constant permacreative urge to create and so began a timeless journey through electronic worlds of sound, sometimes melodious, sometimes deep, sometimes hypnotic, sometimes colorfully mixed and then again simply and with shamanic influences. Since then, ẓıȷŋ is constantly diggin’ new sound and combines different and sometimes odd styles together, just like an Alchemist would do so. ẓıȷŋ comes f

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series! On this month's edition, we welcome Savaggio & Konsounds Welcome to “famiglia Savaggio”. This is Rudi and Toni. In the beginning we lived in Berlin. There, like scientists, we experimented. We started to play live, sometimes with a violin. We watched as our audiences showed surprise and then excitement. As we toured, we refined our signature sound. We made good friends. We made music with them. And sometimes they came to join the party. One such friend is Konstantin, aka Konsounds. We came across in the Pacific NorthWest on our journey. Together, we embarked on a quest to find the Magician on Duty, rumored to inhabit the space between story-telling and music. Which brings us here. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did creating it! The boys are going to release a fantastic EP on our label in the near future, in the meantime please give them a follow: https://soundcloud.com/savaggiomusic https://www.instagram.com/savaggiomusic https://

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series! On this edition, we welcome @hhaller Working his way through different parts of the electronic music scene in Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig, for a long time H.Haller was looking for the right idea to settle for. Several years ago he experienced the enchanting pull of the mystical nights and days at electronic music festivals. What has most shook his consciousness was this new, loving encounter of community, which is resembled by those playful nights, when strangers meet under the shivering roofs of trees and stars. Reenacting these experiences of togetherness in the uniting strength of deep rhythms and heavy percussions is what describes H.Haller's sounds most precisely. In his versatile sets, he’s combining genres from slowed down Melodic House, Dark Disco, Deep House, always ready for a change - this is when the nasty beats and breaks of Future/Bass house come surprisingly in. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did! Follow H. Haller here: www.
