    Dr. Terry Wahls is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. In addition to being a doctor, she is also a patient – in fact, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2000. Determined to overcome her initial diagnosis, she made a choice to rely on food as medicine. In December 2007, she began the Wahls Protocol. The results stunned her physician, family and herself.
