It was recently the 24th Anniversary of Gilby Clarke's "Pawnshop Guitars." Our guest, drummer Marc Danzeisen, goes into detail of the making and recording of that record, which included appearances from Axl Rose and Slash. "Pawnshop" is just a small part of Marc's 40 year career. We learn about his orchestral beginnings, to his time with the Bulletboys, the Rocky IV soundtrack, Davy Jones, and so much more!

Back in episode 66 we spoke with bassist James Hunting about the short-lived, yet important band, The Outpatience. An album including the late West Arkeen and George Baisch, who both died before the record came out. It also features the last known studio track with Axl Rose and Slash, neither knowing the other was on it. Now our guest in episode 75 is Gregg Buchwalter, the keyboardist for The Outpatience's "Anxious Disease." He painfully recalls the losses of his friends West and George, while going through the recording process with Izzy, Axl, and other Guns N Roses' members who were featured on the album. Jimmy is an incredible storyteller, taking us through how he consumed music as a boy in Italy to Circle Jerk punk rock house parties in Los Angeles. His first band, Broken Homes, would get signed to a label, feature a cameo in Back to The Future, and even have GNR open for THEM. That's only the beginning of Jimmy's fascinating story. They been holding the GNR flag high during a time that Axl and Guns were inactive. Playing premiere clubs like BB Kings in NYC and even performing with Dizzy Reed, their journey has been an amazing one. Who are these guys? Brooklyn is bond in Ep. 60. Our guest this episode is drummer, Johnny Kelly. Johnny currently drums for Glenn Danzig and Dizzy Reed's Hookers & Blow (among a few others!).
