Our culture is in decline as a result of turning away from God. We need revival in our cities and towns. But most importantly we need revival in our hearts. Some would say we need a CPR - Christ Prevailing Revival.

God does not have a plan for your life...He has PLANS! Mark encourages us to press in, shout louder and insist on getting close to Jesus, just like blind Bartimaeus, to see God's plans come to fruition in our life. Be specific! Tell God what you want Him to do for you - He knows anyway but it increases our faith to tell Him!

Simeon, old but faith-filled, believed that he would see the Christ before he died. He looked FORWARD to God's promise. All through Biblical history people looked FORWARD to God's promises. This Christmas we too can have complete faith in God and look FORWARD, to the fulfilment of God's promises in our lives and the lives of our families. We can trust that God's word WILL come to pass.

Mary said 'Let it be unto me according to Your word'. Despite the impossibility of her situation - she was a virgin - she gave birth to Jesus. God has spoken many things to you throughout your life. We can forget, let go of and feel despair for the promises and prophecies God has given us because they take too long, seem impossible, other's can't see them as viable... BUT...God's word will NOT return to Him void. Dust off those long forgotten promises. Remember the prophetic signposts throughout your life. Take courage and be filled with faith that God WILL fulfil what He has promised you!
