In week three of "After Further Review," Rob discusses the passage Matthew 5:13-16 and 38-47 asking us tough questions along the way. What will you surrender, what will He ask you to give up in obedience?

May we live our lives as though He is everything to us. May we invite Him into every part of our day and our every thought.

After Further Review is a series where we will examine Jesus’ most famous sermon and evaluate our own responses along the way. We often find ourselves moving through life with priorities out of order, direction blurred, and assumptions about how life should turn out. Jesus was the master at challenging his disciples to live with a fresh start and a new focus. The Sermon on the Mount stands as a message that is countercultural to the world–a message where losing becomes our gain, weakness becomes our strength, love becomes our currency, and people become our investment. As followers of Jesus, how are we each doing in these areas? Think about the journey of faith like a football game…how many times would a referee look at our lives and throw out a yellow flag?

In week eight of "Show & Tell," we are reminded that our days are a gift, and tomorrow is not a given. We can't count our days, but we can make our days count!

In week four of our series on relationships, "The Vow," we tackle the topic of sex, designed by God within the beautiful context of marriage. Instead of looking at sex through the lens of the world and what we're told to be 'normal,' we need to ask ourselves if 'normal' is really how high we want to set the bar for our marriage - when God has much greater things in store.
