In week 15 of Jesus is Better, Rob discusses why Discipline is something that God, as a loving Father, does to stamp us with his ownership as daughters and sons, and His love. Also, discipline doesn't mean what we think it means.

In week 14 of our series, Jesus is Better, pastor Tray talks about all of the ways in which we can depend on the everlasting promise of Jesus in the midst of uncertain times & trials.

The blood of lamb isn't sufficient to liberate us. So Jesus comes as the passover lamb & as the sinless man He was, He freed us from the clutches of sin... Because He is better than the sacrificial system. He is better than the old covenant. He is better than any pleasure of the world. He is better than anything we could ever know. Jesus is Better.

In week 12 of “Jesus is Better,” Rob encourages us of our need to live in community. Hebrews challenges us to spur one another on toward Jesus & being strong in our Godly relationships. We can be stronger when we’re together!  God has proven Himself faithful. He is making good on His promises. This is a hope we can cling to. 

In week 11 of our series in Hebrews, "Jesus is Better," Rob talks about our desperate need to have Jesus step in to fix the problem of our sin - namely, our guilt and shame. He redeems us so we can freely follow Him.

In week ten of our series, "Jesus is Better," Rob talks about the old covenant versus the new covenant. We have a better covenant now, and Rob answers the question, 'which one should we Biblically follow?” 

In week nine of our series, "Jesus is Better" Rob talks about God's promises fulfilled in the life of Melchizedek.

We heard from Jey Mbiro, formerly a child living in poverty in Africa. His life changed when his Compassion International 'parents' in America 'adopted' him and began the pathway that would eventually lead him to become a pastor. We, as a church, have been called to sponsor 400 children in a village in Kenya and so many more amazing stories like Jey's are waiting to unfold. On this Sunday, February 9, 2020, we sponsored over 578 children in a village in Kenya!

In week four of our series, "The Darkroom," Rob talks about the gift of God allowing us a darkroom time to grow and groom us in the way he wants us to before we are appointed. Between the anointing and the appointing lies a darkroom.

In week three of The Darkroom, Rob talks about the story of Esther and her place in history being a very normal woman mightily used by God to save an entire generation.

In week two of the darkroom, Rob talks about the story of Joseph, how we can be developed in our own darkroom. Just as Joseph still acted honorably through his years in slavery, may we act honorably for God's glory no matter how dire our circumstances may seem because the breakthrough might be closer than we think.

In order for film to be developed into a photo, a photographer must take the film into a darkroom where the film is taken through a meticulous chemical process. As followers of Jesus, God takes each of us through times, often difficult times, in order to develop us into the image of His Son. In our next series, entitled The Darkroom, we are going to take a look at several people throughout the Bible who had to go through a “darkroom” experience that would prepare them for God’s call on their lives. In the process, our hope is that we will all discover what they learned and apply it to our lives.
