They are joined for the debate by a real live professional cyclist, Toms Skujins.  The podcast ends with a Nerdy discussion of a new type of chain.   

In the finale of our Rapha Roadmap series, we speak with Dave Brailsford, Simon Mottram, Tiffany Cromwell, and Mitch Docker about the accidental experiment that was the 2020 road season. What did we learn?

Just to make sure you all listening are paying attention, we flipped the script for this week's CyclingTips podcast.  To kick it off, James introduces the gang to the new Wahoo Element Rival, a watch that is a head unit for your wrist. The talk turns to why cyclists aren't more interested in such an item, and the importance of heart rate monitoring in training. Per-usual, Shoddy misses the good old days.  Next, a discussion of Chloé Dygert and Canyon//SRAM's statements over the weekend regarding equality in bike racing, and doing better in the future. And finally, a mini-season in review. From Grand Tours to the women's (lack-of) calendar, the gang chats about some of the major themes of the season, culminating in the suspension of Dylan Groenewegen.

The Vuelta proved to be yet another exciting finale to a Grand Tour, so the gang discusses the contenders, the action, and more.  Abby wraps up the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta, which ended in an exciting race for bonus seconds.  Chloe Dygert makes a guest appearance to talk about her new team for the next four years and how she's feeling after the World Championships.  And finally, James spent the entire podcast in a full-face helmet just for Nerd Alert.
