PiCast Episode 165 - Soul Just like WW84, We didn’t get to watch Soul on Christmas, but we were finally able to sit down and watch once we got back home. Although the film didn’t make a huge impression on us at first, our son has been asking to see it often. Upon multiple viewings, the movie has grown on us as well. We take a little time to discuss the film this week on a rainy Saturday in Southern California.  We also talk about the first of 26 new board games we will play in 2021. Our goal is to play a new one as a family every other week with one member taking the responsibility of learning it each time to teach the rest. What did you think about Soul? That means we watched the first episode of “Good morning Miss Bliss” the original show focusing on Hailey Mills’ character and then the first episode with the traditional cast, The College Years, The New Class, and the Reboot. PiCast Episode 156 - The Unicorn We discovered a new sitcom on Netflix called the Unicorn. We didn’t realize it debuted on CBS last year. We caught up on season one just in time for season two to start on CBS All Access. The main draw of the show is the cast, particularly, Walton Goggins. Scott is a big fan of him from The Shield, Hateful 8, and the Righteous Gemstones. He is a fantastic actor who usually plays very intense characters. This is a departure from that. It’s a family oriented sitcom about a group of friends trying to get their widower friend (Goggins) back into the dating world. Since he is single, able to be in a long term relationship and not only interested in hooking up,  he is known as the titular “Unicorn”.  What have you been watching? We went to Sea World yesterday. We are doing our best to remain safe and socially distant but still experience things when we can! Brittany also took another trip to the San Diego Safari Park (also known as the Wild Animal Park ((WAP)). How are you all dealing with the pandemic and lockdown fatigue?
