Because God's covenant with His people includes many earthly blessings, many people misunderstand the purpose of that covenant, thinking it's all about "ME."  But God has a purpose for inviting you and me into a covenant relationship with Him, and it's a purpose much bigger than just you and your family.  Find out in this teaching why God wants you to be a part of His covenant.

Elder Brent Denney addresses a topic which most modern Christians sorely lack knowledge in: our delegated authority in Christ.  Brent expounds upon what our Biblical authority is, what's for, and how to use it.  

Many Christians struggle with a wrong self-image.  This can be due to failing to see themselves as God sees them.  This teaching will help remedy that.  A more thorough understanding of the grace of God will help to see yourself like God sees you, which in turn can help you break out of destructive mindsets and begin enjoying new life in Christ.

In this service celebrating BLF's 15-Year Anniversary as a church, we hear from Pastor Andy on the importance of serving and perseverance, but also from elders Steve and Pam Hull, and Brent Denney, who provide their testimonies and some important spiritual insights.  Donna Robbins brings up the rear in adding to the conversation her encouragements and insights.  

The last fruit of the Spirit we address in this series from Galatians 5:22,23 is that of faithfulness, although it ends up not being a discussion on faithfulness at all, since that word "faithfulness" is an inaccurate translation from the Greek into English.  The Greek word, PISTIS, doesn't mean faithfulness, but rather FAITH.  Therefore, this discussion addresses the mandate of 2 Corinthians 5:7, that "the righteous shall LIVE BY FAITH!"  And living by faith is supposed to cover every area of life: Peace of mind, health, finances, as well as salvation itself.  Learn more in this teaching what it means to walk by faith and not by sight.    

Did you know that God's principles in the Bible are in place to position you for a happy, fruitful, and more productive life?  The two Fruits of the Spirit discussed in this teaching are ones that can put people on the fast track to greater success, satisfaction, and fruitfulness than they ever imagined, but it will take a commitment to denying the flesh up front to enjoy the benefits on the back end.  Prepare to flourish!  

Sixty-one million people are expected to die this year.  People die at a rate of about 2 per second.  But what's sadder than that is that many people who will remain alive throughout 2025 will have completely wasted their year, not having grown or progressed in their faith or various other elements of life.  But if we develop a plan for growth, we can reach the end of 2025 having been very fruitful.  This teaching lays out a plan for doing exactly that.  

Is there a way to obtain more grace from God?  And are there different levels of grace for different people and different situations?  This teaching explores one important way that God's people can tap into more grace and more favor!

King David demonstrated a quiet strength when he was being driven out of Jerusalem because of the overthrow of the kingdom by his son Absalom.  His patience and self-restraint in the face of a desperate situation provides the example for this teaching on the fruit of patience, and the various ways we can apply that in every day life.  

Joy and Peace are probably the only fruits of the spirit listed in Galatians 5:22 that don't have to be pursued because they are byproducts of pursuing the other seven.  Learn in this teaching how joy and peace can be achieved effortlessly as we seek to live out the other virtues of godliness.
