An old folk song declares, "It's me, O Lord, standing in the need of prayer."  And that's the attitude in which we approach this teaching based on the book of James.  This teaching exposes one common source of offense, which is insecurity.  We uncover the damage insecurity can do, the evil it can lead to, and how to overcome it with wisdom from the Word of God.
