With the circumstances surrounding us and sheltering in place, relationships may be taking the strain. Lead Pastor Carl Gulley dove straight into what is required in every relationship: humility. What does humility require of me? What if we didn't just have the courage to ask ourselves that question, but acted upon it?

Family Pastor Vincent Carpenter continued our Better Together series, sharing what it means to be part of the Body of Christ and how we are all called to place honor upon each other. Every part of the human body is important, and the same goes for the church body. Without each other, we would miss the fullest picture God is revealing of Himself on the earth through the Church.

We loved getting to celebrate Mother's Day during our Better Together series with one of the spiritual mothers of the Antioch Movement, Laura Seibert. Being a mom is such a vulnerable, challenging, rewarding and important role, and mothers throughout the Bible have shown the key influence only a mother has.

We continued our Better Together series, with Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert looking at the life of Peter and how all of us are made to be better together to glorify Jesus. He is the cornerstone and we are called to be living stones. It doesn't stop with our personal relationship with Jesus -- it is us, as a community, reaching out to those around us.

Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our Better Together series, all about community and why we need it. If we are following Jesus, we are woven into the family of God. When this worldwide pause comes to an end, what do you want your life to look like? If we want to be ready for the new normal God has for us, accountability and community are how we get there.

Lead Pastor Carl Gulley kicked off our new series, Better Together. While we may be physically distant during this time, that does not mean that we are emotionally, relationally or spiritually distant. We were made to follow God with people. When we do life vulnerably and intentionally with people, we are able to encourage each other and spur one another one in our love for God.

He is risen, He is risen indeed! Our Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert led us in remembering and celebrating the power of Resurrection Sunday by looking at the journey of Peter, one of Jesus' disciples. Even in the midst of Peter's greatest failures, Jesus invited him to draw close. Jesus became THE sacrifice in order for Peter, and the world, to be restored. We are just like Peter, and we have that same access to a relationship with God through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our Anchored In series, diving into the longest standing tradition in world history: the Jewish Passover Seder. The meal itself is significant as it highlights God's consistency of character. However, when Jesus took this meal with His disciples, He changed the order. Through the symbolic meal, He demonstrated that He, Jesus, was still the Deliverer, and He was about to deliver the whole world.

Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert continued our Anchored In series, honing in on 2 Chronicles 7:11-14. No matter the trial or what form it comes in, we know through this passage that our response is to humble ourselves, pray and seek God's face and repent, knowing that in turn, He promises to hear us, forgive our sins and heal our land. The time is now to posture ourselves humbly before God as He draws near to us.

Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert continued our Anchored In series. The reality is that this pandemic will eventually pass, but the question to answer is, “What will be said of us of how we lived in the in-between?” Even with everything going on around us today, this is not the time to sit back. Through faith in God and patience, we believe it is time to inherit the promises and move forward as a church.

Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert kick-started our new series, Anchored. Even in all of the chaos of this time, we believe that this is still the year of the open hand: one reaching up to heaven as we grow in our relationship with God and the other hand reaching out to others in compassion and outreach. God has called us to make Him our fixed point, to love Him with all of our hearts, love our neighbors as ourselves and love those in need.

Family Pastor Vincent Carpenter wrapped up our Super Natural series with a sermon on the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The fruit has nothing to do with us but can only be produced by the power of the Holy Spirit at work inside us. While we can't produce it, we can cultivate our lives in such a way that spiritual fruit can grow, sowing in the spirit in what we listen to, think about, talk about and how we respond in life.

Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our Super Natural series this week covering the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Carl spent time answering two main questions: are the gifts of the Spirit for today and why do we need supernatural gifts? We looked at motivation and manifestation gifts, specifically the gifts of prophecy, tongues and healing and why we are called to desire those gifts as the Church today.Be sure to tune in next week as we wrap up our series.

Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our Super Natural series, diving deeper into who the Holy Spirit is. This week we looked at what it means to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and examined the difference between what we think is culturally acceptable versus what is biblically acceptable. The baptism of the Holy Spirit was promised by Jesus and we want to be part of every Jesus promise. Be sure to tune in next week as we continue our series.

Lead Pastor Carl Gulley gave us a Biblical perspective on the person of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who enables us to live the super natural lifestyle that Jesus has called all of us to live. John, a long-time member of the Antioch Movement, shared how when ordinary people spend time with Jesus they become extraordinary. When you walk with Jesus every day, everything is possible, and what we may think is crazy is actually normal in the Kingdom of Heaven. What if today we realized that we are walking with Jesus? What if we became so impressed with Him and who He is that we were expectant for the next impossible thing He invited us into? Be sure to tune in next week as we kick off our new series.
