In the show we review Amazing Spider-Man# 576-578, give Christmas gift suggestions for the Spider-Fan, discuss Kevin's Crawl Space#3 issue, start a new segment called "This Month in Spider-History" and give our recommendations for the month.

We answer spider-questions like what superhero we'd date, what we think of the new "Web of Shadows" video game, and which was the best/ worst year in Spider-History. The gang also talks about the effects of spreading our favorite character too thin. There's also discussion of a London teen who decided to change his name to "Spiderman" yes, without the hyphen.

We wrap up our two part conversation with Amazing Spider-Girl writer Tom DeFalco and penciler Ron Frenz. We take live callers from around the world. They ask about clones, team ups and killing off Peter Parker? It's another fun interview and starts off with cracking up Ron Frenz, which has to be heard.

Amazing Spider-Girl writer Tom DeFalco and artist Ron Frenz are our guests this month. We talk about the possible cancellation of the book at issue #30. We also talk about what the fans can do to help save the book.

We wrap up our October show by taking your dozens of message board questions. We cover how to introduce comics to women, how we track our comics, and even what we think of the metric system. Don't worry, we discuss a ton of Spidey in the show too!

Writer David Michelinie is our guest this month. He had one of the longest run on Amazing Spider-Man. He co-created Venom and Carnage. He also worked with artist Todd McFarlane, Erik Larsen and Mark Bagley in the 1980s and 1990s. Before tackling Spider-Man he had an incredible run on Iron Man. He gave Tony Stark a drinking problem and a best friend in Jim Rhodes. It's a fun hour long interview.

We answer questions from all around the world. Some are Spider-related, some not. The questions are all over the place, and you never know what the Crawl Space regulars are going to going ask the gang.

We wrap up reviews of the "Kraven's First Hunt" arc and rave about "New Ways to Die." We also discuss the possibility of Ben Reilly coming back in a new Spidey/X-Men mini-series. We also share "Weird" Spider-Man Ebay auctions. Spider-Thong anyone?

We continue our second and last hour with Spider-Man writer J.M. DeMatteis. We answer two pages of our message board questions. We tackle clones, Maximum Carnage and the death of Aunt May just to name a few.

J.M. DeMatteis is our guest this month. If you're a spider-fan you're familiar with his classic, "Kraven's Last Hunt." He also wrote Amazing Spider-Man #400 in which Aunt May died. He was also the writer who had a solid run on "Spectacular Spider-Man." One of his highlights was issue #200 in which Harry Osborn died. As you know all those characters got better, but the way they went out was done by the master.

Back in 1998 I started a website called the Spider-Man Crawl Space, and who knew I would still be with it this long. And back in 2006 we started a little podcast and thousands of listeners later, it too is going strong. We blow out the birthday candles on this show. We also discuss topics like the latest Brand New Day issues, why fans are so fascinated with sales numbers, if Ultimate Peter and Mary Jane should do the horizontal mambo, and the upcoming Venom movie. As if that were not enough we take live callers. Its a fun romp and we celebrate in style!

One of our contributers to the site is writer Jason Marsh Larouche. He reviews the Ultimate Spider-Man title for us month in- and month out. He had a chance to interview two influential Spider-Creators.He talked to artist Steve McNiven and Stuart Immonen. McNiven penciled the recent Civil War mini- series along with the first arc of Brand New Day in the amazing Spider-Man title. And Stuart Imonen is the current penciler on the Ultimate Spider-Man title written by Brian Michael Bendis The two artists were signing books at Jason's local comic shop.

Spider-Man Legend Writer Roger Stern is our guest this month. In the 1980s he created some of the best story lines including the Hobgoblin origin, the Juggernaut two-parter, and "The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man."
