Sinopse

This week’s episode was quite an honor as I had the privilege to sit down with an impactful and important figure of Spanish Modernism: Alberto Campo Baeza. Though he doesn't look it, Alberto is 75 years old and still producing extraordinary buildings, including THE ROBERT OLNICK PAVILION in upstate NY, along with a number of stunning private homes around the world. He is a tenured Professor of more than 35 years, and an Emeritus Head Professor of Design, at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM). He has also taught at the ETH in Zurich, the EPFL in Lausanne, L’Ecole d’Architecture in Tournai, Belgique, and many more in the United States. Alberto gives lectures worldwide, and has received significant recognition like the Torroja Award for his Caja Granada, the Award of the UPM University for his Excellence in Teaching, the Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal, the RIBA International Fellowship 2014 of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and more.
