A nation that has no borders ceases to be a nation. This is why it’s critical that we find realistic and effective solutions to secure this nation’s borders. And, while there are many polarizing thoughts on the subject, it’s also critical that we have discussions about this pressing issue. That’s why, when I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days with Jason Owens, Chief Patrol Agent of the Houlton Sector (all of Maine), and his team, I jumped at the chance to learn more about what these men and women do and clear up misconceptions about their role and responsibilities.
