Who Will Preach the Cross Of Christ? (1Co 1:18) For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Much of the church today seems to have forgotten about the Cross of Christ. However, we cannot effectively preach Christ without the cross. Although many might rather hear a message about the seven steps to prosperity or how to stand in faith for healing; there can be no prosperity and there is no healing apart from what Jesus did on the cross. Even more importantly, the bible tells us, “Without shedding of blood is no remission (of sin)” (Heb. 9:22). Having this knowledge, we have no other choice but to preach the Cross and Christ crucified.
