Like every good Jewish name, Habakkuk’s name has a meaning. It means to embrace. It means to wrestle. Even when you are in the dip and you don’t understand, you continue to embrace God, even perhaps, wrestle with Him. You embrace Him, and even though He may not change the outward circumstances, or He may, He will take you spiritually to a new place of trust.
