Those are the numbers that RideApart.com claims as the miles that your front and rear tire should be replaced at, respectively. In my opinion, that is utter bullshine! Yet these numbers are repeated ad nauseum across the internet by other sources who don't have their own opinion or are too lazy to do the research. We talk with MPC winner (for Creative Riding) Bri Van Morrison Abernathy Artemus Maximus Vifferious about tires that he has used over the years on his 200,000+ mile VFR750F.
