Psalm 77 is an apparently bleak psalm, with an anatomy of doubt. But doubt has a remedy, and doubt gives faith its substance. (Note that the Thomas Olivers quotation is from 'The God of Abraham Praise', not 'Guide me O thou great Redeemer' as stated in the sermon.)
