Sinopse
Speaker: Daisy Goodman, CNM, DNP, MPH Dr. Goodman will describe factors which complicate treatment of pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorders; identify key interventions to improve quality and outcomes and decrease healthcare costs for this population; and explore alternative models to help address barriers to care. She coordinates women’s health services for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Perinatal Addiction Treatment Program. Her research and work in quality improvement focuses on access to treatment and reproductive health care for pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorders, and the intersection between trauma and drug and alcohol use in women’s lives.
