In his ninth message in the series The Victorious Plan, Brother Whitt Madden explains how the Gospel is not a defense to keep us from pain and suffering in this world but a message of God's rescue through pain and suffering. Our suffering tells the story of a living Hope to a dying world. In suffering we gain Christ, purpose, identity, intimacy with God, and relationship with others. Through our suffering, we show others that Jesus is more valuable than anyone or anything else, including our comfort.
