This week’s Local Selection comes from Elektra, formerly known as CATZA, the new project of Irish DJ and producer Catherine Verzanova. Bringing a fresh approach to the space between house and techno, she builds a deep, enveloping sound that sits towards the hypnotic end of the club spectrum. Originally from Wicklow and now part of Dublin’s electronic music scene, Verzanova has played at venues including Index, Sound House, Pawnshop and The Racket Space.
