For the latest edition of our Local Selection series, we welcome Dublin DJ Dylan Shields, aka The Dogfather, to the mix with a spinning selection of smoggy house cuts. At just 21 years old, Dylan has been behind the decks for nearly three years, developing a sound rooted in house music with a growing pull towards darker, deeper territory. His approach is as much about the people around the music as it is the music itself. Placing community, friendship and creating shared experiences at the heart of what it means to be a DJ. Dylan cites Dublin scene pioneer Eric Brown as a major inspiration, highlighting his selfless approach to supporting those around him and making sure everyone has a place at the table.
