In the books of 1 & 2 Samuel, we learn that Israel thought they wanted an earthly king, but they really wanted God to rule over their lives. This week we will look at 1 Samuel 31, where Saul approaches the witch of Endor, and she conjures up Samuel. Saul's life ends on a slippery slope as the first book of Samuel closes out.
