Okay so I have already abandoned my initial intention of one world punchy titles for this season - but thats okay, no rules here and anyway I could not sum up this convo in one word.Super pumped to offer the first episode of our story telling season with a conversation on Mothers through the generations with my Mum, Pauline.Our conversation blooms around four major conversation points:Differences of Mothering in 1954 (my Grandmother), 1989 (my Mother) and 2022 (me). Think expectations, support, co-parenting, education and lifestyle in all 3 generations. We came across some alarming parallels. Learning to advocate for yourself as a (human being and) Mother in your relationship.Gender roles and their expiration date.Respecting Women, respecting Mothers.Please note there are themes of Domestic Violence spoken about in this episode.
