How do you move when moving hurts? The one thing that calms my body and my mind and doesn't make me feel like I got hit by a truck the next day is Pilates. Since I have a radio show I thought, why not bring my personal Pilates trainer, mentor and friend to the show so you could get to know her, ask her your questions and learn a few things you can do at home to get your body and mind back into alignment. Especially your body. The first time I went to Pilates I had been in pain for a long time after some injuries to the discs in my lower back after a VERY bad round of golf. After 15 minutes, the pain was gone and my body and mind felt calmer. I got hooked and each time I go, I not only learn more about my body but more about the mind body connection and how they play tricks on each other.  If you aren't sure what I mean just tell yourself to stand up straight with your chin back to align the head and then look in a mirror.
