Tripp takes Jan's place in the coma. The devil crashes the Horton Christmas and sets fire to the tree top angel. John rushes to save the day and knocks out MarDevil. With Marlena tied to the bed John prepares for an exorcism. Eric arrives and informs John he has re entered the priesthood. Family members arrive to help carry out the exorcism of Marlena. The exorcism is a success and Marlena is set free. Lucas convinces Jason to say EJ hired him to kidnap Sami. Lucas sets up EJ by hacking into the DiMera computer. Chad catches him and demands to know the truth. Chad decides to go along with Lucas and frame EJ. Sami and EJ have made up when Shin enters and removes EJ as co CEO. Sami finds out that EJ kidnapped her and then turns to Lucas. The Hortons trim the tree as Jules and Carver get their ornaments. Jennifer and Jack retur
