Sinopse

In today’s episode, I have the pleasure of speaking with Holly Freres and David Horning of JHL Design.  This magnificent design firm has long been woman-owned and led. It was founded in 1999 by Jane Freres, Holly’s mother.  In 2003, Holly took the helm as President, and today leads a 12-person team of collaborative, dynamic design visionaries. Holly and her husband, David Horning, ran separate businesses, collaborating on a myriad of projects. In 2020, they officially combined forces, allowing for a more streamlined and comprehensive approach to their projects. David has decades of experience creating hospitality, retail, and high-end, single-family residences. He leads the building and architectural design side of JHL. The firm features an in-house, multidisciplinary team that includes interior designers, architects, and procurement managers and specialists. Having architects on staff allows JHL to have a deep understanding of how buildings, mechanical systems, and interior spaces unify into cohesive and art
