I truly was uncomfortable when I recently went on an extreme hiking trip to the country of Georgia and climbed several mountains to up to 2,700m. This was my first time doing anything like this. At the top of these mountains, while being above the clouds, I found a piece of myself. If I did not push myself deep into being uncomfortable I would have never found a missing piece of myself. How many times have you said no to an opportunity that could have revealed to you a piece of yourself that you never knew you had within you or was a part of you. Is life about collecting all these small pieces of ourselves? If we had this perspective every time we were uncomfortable, then wouldn't we then welcome more challenges in life?
