Nigerian Atheist in Jail #FreeMubarakBala

Informações:

Sinopse

We discuss the case of Mubarak Bala, the president of Humanist Association of Nigeria, who was arrested on 4/28/2020 on charges of public disturbance and cybercrime due to a Facebook post about the Prophet Mohammed. We also discuss our guest's work in the Advocacy for Alleged Witches project, and the current issues faced by atheists and non-believers in Nigeria today. Susanna and Armin speak with Leo Igwe, Ph.D., a skeptical educator and humanist activist in Nigeria. We were having some connection difficulties, so, unfortunately, Leo was not able to share his video at this time.
