Theo Epstein resigned as Cubs president this week. And I am up in my feelings about it! Staying up until 3 AM watching 2016 Game 7 eating Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream listening to "Pictures of You" on repeat FEELINGS... This one is a crossover with Kevin McCaffrey and Adam Mamawala of Cubs Brawl: The Away Games Podcast because sometimes you need your besties to talk you through it when something beautiful ends. And it's a measure of Theo's impact that we spent the entire podcast discussing what we admired about him but we didn't get around to any of the moves he actually made until there was less than a minute left in our Zoom. In short, this has been the best time ever to be a Cub fan. By exponential orders of magnitude. And it's largely due to Theo Epstein and the culture he instilled in this organization. It's the end of an era. But until Theo got to Chicago, we never expected that anything like this could happen to our team. And we're forever grateful. Weep not for the memories. Twitter: @KenSchultz_
