28/05/2021 Duração: 27minPeel Regional Police recently launched a new Intimate Partner Violence Unit to address the growing number of domestic violence incidents in the area. The service aims to break down silos by working closely with other community service providers. The unit is based on the Family Justice Centre model, where various agencies offer services for survivors of family violence in the same location. Officers from the unit will be available seven days per week, around the clock, to address all calls related to intimate partner and family disputes, which are among the top four call types in Peel. This episode feature PRP Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich and Detective Constable Kathy Kulbak.
