We talked about bands that feature musicians who went on to become more popular with their next acts. It was just an excuse for a free-range discussion about a lot of different musical corners. Plus, we talked about some recent live shows we've seen. PLUS, we introduce a new game called Which Band is Gayer? How generous, we are. 

We do a quick review segment on the new Samia record. Then we talk about what we've been listening to throughout the last month. Also, Michael and Eli debate whether or not 2022 was a good year for rap. It's a smorgasbord type ep. 

Fall Out Boy are back, and we have thoughts. We talk about all of their albums, their improbable longevity, what they meant to pop-culture in the 2000s, the hoard of proteges they fostered, and where they stand now. 

This week, we talked about artists who only ever released one record, and how that contributes to their legacies. Why is it super normal for hardcore bands but taboo for popstars? Is quality>quantity always a good thing? Is Cardi B onto something? Stuff like that, and more. 

We finally continue our long-delayed Jimmy Journey — our quest to listen to all the Jimmy Eat World records. This week, we listened to 'Clarity' and shared our thoughts. We also listened to 'Clarity' by Zedd, for some reason. Multitudes, folks. 

For our first ep of the new year, we make some (mostly cursed) predictions about what 2023 will entail for music. Where's Phoebe Bridgers going? Who will Jack Antonoff taint next? Are mega-canceled bands gonna make comebacks? AI in music? All that and more. 

To quote Green Day, we were "on Holiday" this week, and therefore didn't record a new ep. But before we head into 2023, we wanted to give everyone access to the first installment of Eli and Miranda's Pop Punk Squad series, where they'll be diving into various eras, micro-trends and bands of the genre's past ~15 years. This one's on neon pop-punk. Happy new year!
