This week Pastor Dom takes us through part 2 of the Armor of God in Ephesians 6. In verses 15 and 16, it talks about needing the shield of faith and firm footing. God doesn’t want us living a life of weakness, which is why He gives us the armor we need to stand strong.

Belt of Truth and the Breast Plate of Righteousness Know your enemy, know his plan, know your protection that God provides. It starts with the truth of Gods Word and the Righteousness that we have from Him.

We need to be ready to fight the devil, because he is always ready to destroy us. The way to fight is not in the natural world though, rather it’s the supernatural world. Pastor Dom explains all of this in his teaching of Ephesians 6 today!

Pastor Dom takes us through Ephesians 6, which talks about the different roles we have and how we are to behave in those roles. No matter our role, we’re called to work like we’re working for God and to be faithful where we are.

In today's sermon, Pastor Dom preaches in Ephesians 5:1-12 which talks about how there are two sides that will influence us, the world or God. We are supposed to stay away from anything sinful, because it will defeat us.

We as Christians are called to live different from the world. We aren’t supposed to live the way the sinners do. When you decide to follow Jesus, he will change your life.

God has a specific job that each of us are called to do to edify His church and glorify Him. The only way to accomplish His will is by the grace Jesus bought for us.

Our identity comes from our characteristics. The church’s main characteristic is to be unified in Christ. 

Paul took prayer seriously, he knew the power in it. Since we also have the Holy Spirit, we can pray bold prayers too! 

Now through Christ, we all have access to God. It’s not just for the Jews, every one can be saved.

The true church is the one founded by Jesus. He is the cornerstone and everything is set from Him. Jesus created His church for both the Jew and the Gentile.

Father’s have an important role and responsibility to raise and lead their family. Dads are called to keep their eyes on Jesus and follow Him. 

Why Did Jesus teach in parables? It is not what you might think. As we dig into Mark 4, we see that Jesus wanted to conceal not reveal the truth from the crowd. Most teachers or preachers tell stories to reveal what they are saying not conceal.  As we take a look we will see Him telling the ones close to Him what to do, while keeping it from the ones that want to do Him harm.We will also see how important it is to evangelized to all.

The power of blood is seen throughout the Old and New Testament. The eternal power is found in the New Testament in Jesus Christ. When we give our lives to Him, that’s when we find power in the blood.
