The Joe Philbin Era has begun with a nice 34-20 win at Lambeau. Mike is drinking beer in Vegas and Matt is back in Chicago. Bashaud Breeland played well in a pivotal game for his career. Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones are complimentary players. This season has been like watching a panda fall out of a tree.

Mike and Matt discuss the Packers 24-17 loss at Minnesota. Reality sinks in and Mike stops defending Mike McCarthy. Matt laments the situational play-calling. We make fun of Dan Bailey.

Oh heck, now is the hour of our discontent. Mike and Matt have a chat about the Pack's 27-24 loss out in Seattle last Thursday, discussing the under-use of Aaron Jones, the spate of injuries, the play calling, the challenges (and non-challenges) of certain plays, and the end of the Mike McCarthy era?

Mike and Matt talk about the Pack's 31-12 win over the Dolphins. Matt dissects running back play, secondary play, quarterback play, and the schemes of Matt Nagy. Mike complains about the internet. Matt swears multiple times and Mike enjoys editing them out of the finished product.

Mike and Matt have a casual chat about the Packers 31-17 loss to the Patriots. Mike defends Mike McCarthy. Matt is not so convinced. The Dolphins might come to town and lighten the mood next week.

Mike and Matt go through a disordered and chaotic version of the stages of grief in reaction to Sunday's 29-27 loss to the LA Gear. Matt yells several times without using words. Mike is more of a bargaining type. The Packers traded away Montgomery and Clinton-Dix literal minutes after the mp3 of this episode finished processing.

Mike and Matt check in on the status of the Packers, then sit down in a packed studio for an engaging six person round-table discussion featuring Charlie Bevins, Garrett Neal, Ally Pruitt, and Gavriel Wilkins. Topics: The Washington Redskins fringe kickoff returner whose name I already forgot, the Chicago Bears status, the Packers lack of defensive cohesion, legalized gambling, and player labor issues. The Packers eke out a win over the 49ers on Monday night football. Mike and Matt discuss the progression (and regression) of the defense, rookie wide outs, running back snap counts, and modern dentistry. Matt hurries off to class. Mike is on painkillers because of modern dentistry.

Mike is off in the great northwoods, and yells this episode into his computer microphone. Matt meanwhile is comfy and clear in the Chicago studio and sounds incredible. The game was bad, a 31-23 loss to the Lions in which a bunch of things went wrong. Silver linings are looked for, and found. Gasoline is not a beverage.

Mike and Matt talk about anything except the Buffalo Bills, who didn't bother showing up to Lambeau on Sunday. Mike continues explaining the structural issues which prevent good officiating, Matt explains why holdouts are good, and we completely forget to name a Head Cheesehead, so we'll say its... Byron Bell. Sure.

The first loss of the season was a sloppy affair, and Mike and Matt do their best to clean up the pieces and diagnose what happened. Also, Mike continues to elaborate on why NFL refereeing is the way it is, and Matt predicts the future by introducing the newest Packer Bashaud Breeland. A squeaking chair guest stars.

Football continues to fascinate and confound Matt and Mike, as they recap a Packers/Vikings 29-29 tie. Mike talks about refereeing and why its bad, Matt continues to harsh on the 2-0 Case Keenum, and Mike forgets his own podcast.
