Nutmeg Junction Episode 233: Professor A: Two StoriesWelcome to Nutmeg Junction. We have two Professor A stories on the trolley ride of imagination. The first story is The Simulacrum.  A famine has ravaged the land of serpentine beings known as the Anacondians. As Professor A searches for a solution, the situation is complicated by Doctor Robere’s relationship with an Anacondian which hurtles forward towards a “constriction ceremony”.   Starring Lana Peck, Kurt Boucher, Tiffy Mckay, with AJ Lin, Jason Kulas, Rich Cyr and Amanda Yount.  Our second Professor A story is The Times Arrow Trap. Professor A and Doctor Robere use the vortex tunnel to reach a quantum field observatory where Doctors Illian and Themy are investigating a fluctuation in space which appears to be a “pocket of time’. Featuring Lana Peck, Kurt Boucher, Michael Illian and Catarina Quinonez

In episode 231 which is the thirty first episode of our second season, we have three station stops on our Trolley ride of imagination.The first station is a visit to Sherwood Forest where a hooded figure approaches a not so merry band in “Robin Hood and the Team of Occasionally Amused but Often Contemplative Persons”In the our second station we visit the land of Oz where the Wicked Witch of the west is looking for something of change…will she succeed? In the 30th episode of season 2 of Nutmeg Junction we celebrate “Tort Law Day”. Tort Law Day is the idea of the American Museum of Tort Law which was founded by Ralph Nader and located in Winsted, Connecticut.The episode has a Packa-Dermy-Poo mystery squad story starring the squad of Lana Peck, Kurt Boucher, Rich Cyr, Olivia Wadsworth and Packa Dermy Poo as himself and featuring Jerry Crystal, Deborah Goodman, Kristin Moresi, Jack Sheedy and Darcy Abbott.Then we enjoy a song by Lil’ Tweed called Talking Tort Law Boogie.Our short story was “Toy-Feasors” about an unscrupulous toy company featuring Jandi Hanna, Kurt Boucher, AJ Lin, Darcy Abbott and Jerry Crystal.We close out the episode with a fun song previously aired called “Mister Tort Law’ with Kurt Boucher and Lana Peck.

In the 29th episode of the second season of Nutmeg Junction, the Grey Whisper returns! Madeleine Forthwright and her faithful companion, Rusty, visit Leominster, Massachusetts for the Johnny Appleseed Festival. But there's another mysterious figure in the community: The Phantom Flamingo! Has the Grey Whisper met her match? Starring Jandi Hanna as The Grey Whisper, Rich Cyr as Rusty, AJ Lin as the Unofficial Comb Vendor, and introducing Amanda Yount as The Phantom Flamingo!In the second story, KJ Johansen reprises her role as Virginia (Ginny) Wyles, the 19th century promoter whose motto is "there are a million bad ideas and she can find the least bad one!" Ginny pitches John Chapman who is about to embark on his journey involving apples, to consider a different fruit.

 In Season 2  Episode 26 of Nutmeg Junction, we present "Masters in Pieces Theater with Austen-Tacious: Pride and Incredulous" it posits the question "What would life be like for the Bennett family if they lived in modern day Litchfield, Connecticut. Written by J. Timothy Quirk, the program aired the weekend of 8/24/2019 through 8/26 on the stations that air the Nutmeg Junction radio program.  It starred (in alphabetical order) Kurt Boucher, John Fabiani, Melissa Gabehart, Phil Hall, Kristin Moresi, Marilyn Olsen, Rebecca Rosewood, Jeff Savage, Jack Sheedy, Olivia Wadsworth.

Nutmeg Junction would like to introduce you to The Narada Radio Company,created by Pete Lutz.  Pete Lutz is the son, grandson and father of community theatre actors, and a lifelong devotee to Old-Time Radio programs. In order to fulfill his desire to make his own audio plays, he created the Narada Radio Company (80+ members and growing) and began podcasting the "Pulp-Pourri Theatre" anthology series in 2013. The fourth and final season wrapped in 2018, and a 12-chapter Western serial, "Jake Dimes, Range Detective", finished in early 2019. The Narada Radio Company occasionally performs live in local venues (in the Corpus Christi, TX, area), and is currently appearing in an all-new horror anthology podcast series, "The Cellar", which at present has released three episodes of a planned 24.
