Death will change your life! Maybe Paul wasn't actually dead when he got his glimpse of the next world: "in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows," he wrote. If you go to Hell, it will be over Jesus' dead body. I hope my opening didn't sound irreverent. What I mean is that Jesus died to keep you out of Hell. What do we mean when we talk about "the last judgment?" We saw in our previous excursion into the book of Revelation that we can get a bit sloppy about what we call "Heaven." What happens before the Last Days? Any study of Revelation takes us forward into the future, all the way out to the end of Gentile history.
