This Saturday will be the 156th anniversary of Juneteenth, the day that slaves in Texas were finally informed that they had been set free from chattel slavery, years after the Civil War had ended.  Shortly after they were freed, Black Americans across Texas created Freedom Colonies, where they began to amass great wealth and property. You can't make any kind of complex item without having a good supply chain in place.
