In Mark 7 we see Jesus go to the Gentiles, and he finds faith that has rarely been seen in Israel.  Faith, not out background makes us into the people of God.

We dive into Mark 7 and see the false worship of the Pharisees and how Jesus calls us to be true worshippers of God.

We look at the faith of Jairus and the unnamed woman in the book of Mark.

In Mark 4 we see the parables of the soils and of the kingdom.  We can learn through these passages that we should believe in the Gospel and we should watch and see how God grows his Kingdom.

Mark 3:7-35 Jesus shows us the beginning of how he builds his church.  We see both insiders and outsiders in this section and we see what makes the difference between insiders and outsiders.

Mark 2:18-3:7 Jesus tells us the importance of the Sabbath and explains to us what real rest is like.

In Mark 2 we see how Jesus makes it better by calling people who usually don't belong to have a relationship with him. 

Jesus has all authority over life, powers, healing and he has a purpose behind all of his power and authority

Jesus heals a man and shows that he has the authority to forgives sins.  We need Jesus to solve our sin problem.

John the Baptist was a witness to the Messiah.  His entire life was about proclaiming the greatness of the one who was to come.

Starting with Mark 1:1, we walk through the Gospel of Mark and see the major themes of the identity of Jesus and His calling to us to become his disciples.

The great commission is a call for every disciple of Jesus to go out and share the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Philippians 2 tells us to have the same mindset as Jesus.  

Sermon for Easter Sunday. A true understanding of the Gospel makes a fundamental change in the lives of people.  We see this change happen in Acts 2.

In Mark 10, Jesus announces his death and resurrection.  The Disciples don't understand and Jesus points them to follow him down the path of service and suffering for the Kingdom of God.

The second sermon in our series "The Road to Easter," we look at Mark 9:30-37 and see how Jesus calls his disciples to humble service.

In the first sermon in our "Road to Easter" series, we look at Jesus declaration to the disciples that he is the Christ and that the Christ will die.  He then calls his disciples to take up their cross and follow Him.
