The Holy Spirit inspires and empowers extraordinary generosity in the followers of Jesus for spiritual and practical transformation of lives.  

A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.

"All the believers DEVOTED themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer." 

Followers of the way are the visible representation of Jesus and of God's Kingdom without borders. 

Songs of Ascent serve as a soundtrack of prayers and celebration songs for our expression of worship and love for God as well as for our spiritual growth.

The gathering of God's people in worship creates spiritual joy, unity, and peace.

In our most hopeless, helpless and darkest places, we can trust God and be confident of His loving care.

In these seven verses of this first song we learn about the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God when we cry out to Him.

Knowing the Holy Spirit

God's Greater Love for us is revealed through the way he cares about our health and well-being.

God loves us, cares for us, and is available to save us from the cares (anxieties) of life.

"I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!"

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

As Jesus' followers we are called to a life of inner righteousness and not performance-based religion.

Comfort is not our god.

 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? (Matthew 7:3)

“Strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all your everyday human concerns will be met." (Matthew 6:33)
