Charlie Strong was loved by his players and respected by the administration, but the wins just weren't there to keep him around any longer. Herman was equally highly admired by his players at Houston and, for now, it looks like Longhorn football is back on the right track. But Herman won't have star running back D'Onta Foreman on the roster, who decided to forego his senior year and join the NFL draft.
