Too often people fall into the trap of only thinking about the things they aren't doing or could be doing better, and not the things they are doing now that are incredibly beneficial. Just because you aren't chasing your dream at full force, it doesn't mean you are wasting your time. There are plenty of other ways to be productive with your time than chasing your dream. Working and saving money, spending time with loved ones and setting yourself up for success in the future are all great ways to spend time that may not allow you to pursue your passion in full force right now, but they will enable you to do it in the future. Today's episode is another GaryVee TV Classic, an interview from "Tea with GaryVee". "Talking to the audience" when building your personal brand is not a skill that comes naturally to everyone. If speaking directly to the camera feels awkward to you, then don't do it! You should play to your strengths. If you work better with another person to bounce ideas off of and have a conversation with, try that instead! Try a live stream where you can directly talk to your community instead if a video where you "pretend" like you are. Today's episode is another GaryVee TV Classic, an interview from "Tea with GaryVee". It is a very common dream for people to do what they love and make a living off of it. Monetizing your passion sounds good on the surface, but it can potentially be a double-edged sword for some. If your side hustle is starting to feel less fun and more like a job because you are now charging for it, the right move for you may be to not monetize your passion and have it as an outlet for your actual job. Having downtime away from work will not only let you enjoy your craft but also make you better at your job for it. Take a step back and ask yourself if monetizing your passion will make you less excited to actually do it because you may not want to monetize. Do not put money before your own happiness! P.S. If your safety net is something financially related, like taking money from your family, it can actually do more harm than good to you because now they have leverage over your life and the things you do.
