Next up on the Local Selection series, for edition number 178, we welcome Irish electro champion and all round legend, Eliza. We've been big fans of her mixes for ages now so it's an honour to host her, and we can confirm, this one is tops. Hailing from Mullingar, Dublin based Eliza can be found playing alongside some of the best in the business, in recent times on notable lineups with Jensen Interceptor, Radioactive Man and Bill Converse, to name a few. Her dedication to crate digging comes through in all her sets as her ear for selecting tracks has honed a style that meanders through the rawer sounds of electronic music. Not one to be pigeonholed, you can expect her to weave though pulsating electro, acid and techno, hearing influences of Detroit to Den Hagg within her sets. Swedish producer Daniel Andréasson focuses on experimental sides of dance music and forward thinking techno productions. Daniel is a regular on the Stockholm club scene, and has also graced the infamous Tresor Berlin. Pineal Navigation, a.k.a. Hailing from Limerick, and already having left her mark on Dublin and Paris, MELTX’s is proving one to watch. After kick-starting her career in 2020 off the back of self-releasing a number of tracks, she has gone on to have a very busy year supporting acts and headlining shows up and down the country, and supporting acts such as Dyen, I Hate Models and Tommy Holohan. The budding artist produces high-end club tracks filled with brutal percussion and originality. Matching the energy of her own productions, MELTX provides a healthy collection of mixes with pumping selections and clean technique, with labels both at home and abroad keen to see more from the aspiring new artist. ‘These Streets’ is a low rise thumper, full of attitude featuring a hooky vocal that sets the tone.
