He built a one-car garage in East Nashville into a tiny home studio and began recording bands at night and on the weekends while working at Blackbird by day. In 2017, Nick and his friend from Blackbird, Leland Elliott, had the opportunity to combine their gear and experience and move into a building within the House of Blues studio complex.
