We have been doing a number of sessions over the last few weeks on the powers of the paranormal, the entrapment of the enemy, specifically, towards followers of Jesus Christ. But, we rely on Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us from the enemies schemes and things that are attached to the occult. This is part 4B, the final part of this series, "The Presence and Power of the Paranormal".

Our spiritual lives are a struggle and battle against the powers of darkness. We stand against the devil's schemes by putting on the full armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-18. In this message, Stephen walks us through each piece of the armor and gives the Biblical perspective of what Paul was talking about as he wrote Ephesians 6. 

There are three characteristincs indicating involvment in the paranormal and the occult. This week we cover the third characteristic which is any attempt to gain and master power in order to manipulate or influence other people into certain activties, such as witchcraft and wicca and casting spells. 

In part two of our series on the paranormal we discuss the first two marks of the occult. In todays world it is considered normal to seek guidance from a psychic or to consult a medium for personal understanding but the Bible is clear on what God says about these practices. In this message, Stephen unpacks why using these illegal gateways into the paranormal are closed and forbidden by God for our own protection. 

One of the attributes of God is that he is the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding. In this weeks podcast we talk about the difference between knowledge and wisdom and how the wisdom of God reveals His heart towards humanity. 

Whats wrong with a little ghostly entertainment? Only 28 percent of church goers said they received any teachings that helped shaped their view of the supernatural world. We aim to help with that.

Surveys say 60% of evangelicals polled (State of Theology Survey - Ligonier Ministries and Lifeway Research) were confused about the Holy Spirit - believing that “the Holy Spirit is a force but is not a personal being” Macedoniansm was a fourth-century heresy that denied the full divinity or personality of the Holy Spirit; that is a heresy we challenge with Scripture.

Tozwer writes, "God perfectly knows Himself and, being the source and author of all things, it follows that He knows all that can be known.."  This week we talk about God being Omniscient and Omnipresent, all knowing and always everywhere, and the steps to help us recongize His presence in our daily lives.

Pelagianism is a 5th-century heresy that has crept back into the church of today - it is a self-works salvation essentially obtained through will-power. The truth is that it is the grace of God, the unmerited favor, that brings salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

56% of Evangelicals in America believe that there is no one way to The Father. In part two of Combating Heresies, Stephen brings shares the biblical foundations for why Jesus is the only way to The Father.

God is immutable and self-sufficient. In this episode of Understanding God, we talk about how God never changes and He has no needs. What does that look like for a humanity that is full of need and constantly changing our thoughts, ideas and emotions. 

We are part of God's plan from the beginning. We carry the name and the mark of God upon us as his children. God has given us his name, therein, gives us the authority to do what God has called us to do and there is a place of safety under the shadow of the Almighty.

We cannot worship what we do not know, and God has made known who He is by revelaing His attributes to us. As we kick off our new series on the attributes of God, we talk about why it is important to understand who He is.

Stephen wrapes up this series on God's keeping power according to Psalm 91 and how to deal with a spirit of fear in our world today. 

In part 2 of our Psalm 91 series, Stephen breaks down the text into sections that reveal the protection and the pledge of the Lord towards those that love Him. 

"He who dwells in the secret place fo the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty." It was always God's intent to dwell with His people. In Part one of our Psalm 91 series, Stephen and Dalene unpack verse 1 and the realities of abiding in the secret place.

In this final message of our Boldy series we look at the prophet Micah who chose to live out boldly, prophesying about the coming Messiah who would ultimatly fulfill the perfect plan of God.
