1. We can do nothing to EARN more favor with God. Our own efforts fall short of His Character & Righteousness. He is enough. 2. Nothing we do can make God love us more than He already does. Jesus was the perfect atonement. 3. Nothing we do can make God love us less than He already does. He hates sin but loves the sinner. 4. The focus of FOLLOWING JESUS should not be deeds and doing, but a Daily Relationship with Him because of what He has already done. John 6:53-56 53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

The year of 2025 is the year of BECOMING FULLY DEVOTED We Need a Personal Encounter We Need Wholehearted Belief We Need To Go Public John 3:1-3, 14-16 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, ‘Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.’ Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.’ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

False love is selfish God’s love is selfless False love is conditional God’s love is unconditional False love is greedy God’s love is sacrificial 1 John 4:11,15-16 “Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” “If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”

False Belief #1 - “God is tempting me.” False Belief #2 - “It's possible for me to live a lifestyle of sin and follow Jesus at the same time.” False Belief #3 - “I want to be saved, but can't because of what I’ve done.” 1 John 1:7-10 “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.”
