An understanding of the 10 Commandments can give us great confidence in sharing the Gospel with everyone around us! They demonstrate love and strong principals, morality and discipline. Let’s become free in Christ together by bringing in the finale of this series and studying God’s final commandment:  Don't covet your neighbor's stuff.

We can find freedom in Christ and become better Christ followers as we learn to understand God’s commandments. Are they just a set of rules? Aren’t we free from the law in grace? Are we supposed to take these commandments literally? Let’s dive into the ninth commandment this week:  No lies.

“Learning to Fly” is taking us into the heart of God’s commandments. We can learn them, understand them, and view them as more than just a list of “do nots.” They can bring us freedom and great joy. They can take us from darkness into light. Watch this week’s message that highlights the eighth commandment:  No stealing.

The sacred covenant of marriage is threaded throughout the Bible. We learn how God views marriage and how he intended this union to be. Find out more about God’s great design as we discuss the seventh commandment in this week’s message:  No adultery.

Walk alongside us as we dive into the 10 Commandments, their purpose, their meaning and their freedom. These commandments are God’s design and our lives are better for them. How do we understand them? How do we interpret them? Let’s take a look into the sixth commandment this week:  No murder.

God greatly values the role of a father and of a mother. Our parents set the example for our children. God teaches us to love and respect them, honor and trust them. Having an appreciation for God’s commandments can lead us to a deeper trust in Him. This week’s message is focused on the fifth commandment:  Honor your father and mother.

The 10 Commandments are ways in which we live our lives to strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ and continue to have a hunger and thirst for God and His plan for our lives. Find out the importance of honoring His name in this weeks studied third commandment:  Don't misuse and dishonor my name.

The 10 Commandments are a picture of freedom and God uses them to protect us so that we can live in this freedom. We are free from slavery and free for the purposes of God. To whom much is given, much is required.

Jesus said, "Love your neighbor", but do you find it difficult to LIKE your neighbor much less to love them?    "Me too."   If we’re honest, half of us have never met our neighbors and the other half can’t even remember our neighbors’ names. Yet when it comes to loving our neighbors, the Bible calls this, "The Greatest Commandment". At North Metro Church, we want our neighbors to know Jesus. We believe that the best way to introduce them to a loving God is to first love our neighbors as ourselves.   Check out this message that explores why the Greatest Commandment is sometimes the hardest commandment for us to keep.
